Emailing Images To Moonbeams
A little advice to avert difficulties

You can email documents, photos and other images to us for printing, on paper or for creating personalised gifts. The email address is on our Find Us page.
If you are emailing images to us, please consider the following:
We check for emails frequently throughout the day, but less frequently when we are very busy. If you need your documents or images printed urgently it’s best to call us to let us know to look for the email. And then, if the email doesn’t arrive, we’ll know it’s missing and will call you back and ask you to resend it.
Please state in your email exactly how you want the images printed, e.g. on what size paper and how many of each image.
If you reduce your image file size, to keep the email size down, your images will lose resolution{1}. That means we may not be able to print them in our larger sizes. If you want your images printed ‘8x10’ or larger, or if they are to go on a mug, t-shirt, or other Custom Gifts and Souvenirs product, you need to send us the full resolution images from your camera.
A full resolution photo from a modern camera can easily be as big as 6Mb. Our mailbox is large and can accept emails up to 16Mb each, but be aware that not all mail systems can send a message that big. If you’re sending several large photo files it may be best to send each one in a separate email.
We can download images from your Facebook® page, but please note that Facebook® images are often fairly low resolution and can’t be printed bigger than 6x4.
If you’re not sure how to proceed, or have any other questions about printing, please just contact us and we’ll be delighted to help.
{1} If you don’t know what we mean by that, please see our information page Pixels and digital photography for a (jargon-free) explanation
We hope you find this information useful. We have also tried hard to make sure it’s accurate. If you spot an error or think there’s anything else that should be included here, please contact us.
